The Rev. Billy Franklin Reavis, Sr., 63, of 1110 Bethpage Road, Kannapolis, died Thursday, September 28, 2006, at NorthEast Medical Center. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday, October 2, 2006, at Lady's Funeral Home Chapel. Pastor Anita Massey and the Rev. Ronnie Cooper will officiate. Burial will follow in West Lawn Memorial Park in China Grove. The family will receive friends from 4 to 6 p.m. Sunday, October 1, 2006, at Lady's Funeral Home At other times they will make headquarters at the home of a daughter, Kimberly Cook, 605 Leonard Avenue, Kannapolis. Born August 19, 1943, in Vance County, he was the son of the late Frank and Martha Ball Reavis. He was pastor of the House of Prayer Freewill Baptist Church and retired from Quality Sprinklers in Charlotte. He was a veteran of the US Navy. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Linda Burchfield Reavis, who died April 21, 2006. Survivors include two daughters, Donna Reavis and Kimberly Reavis Cook, both of Kannapolis; a son, Billy F. Reavis, Jr. of Kannapolis; one sister, Helen Tilley, of Kannapolis; 15 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Memorials may be made to House of Prayer Freewill Baptist Church, P.O.
