Bobby Eugene Hargett

Mr. Bobby Eugene Hargett, 72, passed away Thursday, June 23, 2016, at his residence.

A graveside service is scheduled for 11:00 am Friday, June 24, 2016, at Carolina Memorial Park. Mark Plott will officiate.

Mr. Hargett was born February 24, 1944 in Concord, NC. He was a son of the late James Hargett and Roberta Carey Hargett. He worked for Shoe Show as a switcher. He was a veteran of the U.S. US Army. Bobby attended Charity Baptist Church. He enjoyed target practice and flying his remote controlled helicopter.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, James and Lester Hargett.

Mr. Hargett is survived by his wife of 52 years Rebecca Hargett; daughter, Amy Hargett Shuffler and husband Keith; son, David Eugene Hargett, both of Kannapolis; and five grandchildren, Stephanie, Daniel, Emily, Kaleb and Rebekah.
