Boyd Herman Tucker

Mr. Boyd Herman Tucker, 51, passed away Tuesday, January 12, 2016, at his residence.

A funeral service is scheduled for 2:00 pm Friday, January 15, 2016, at Lady's Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Gerry Steedley will officiate. Interment will follow at Carolina Memorial Park in Kannapolis.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8:00 pm Thursday at Lady's Funeral Home.

Mr. Tucker was born January 13, 1964 in Mooresville. He was a son of Cecil Carl Tucker and Phyllis Faye Bowles Tucker, both of Kannapolis. He enjoyed dirt track racing and loved his time at the beach.

Mr. Tucker, in addition to his parents, is survived by his daughter, Erica Tucker of Lincolnton; three sisters, Donna Duffell and husband Steve of China Grove, Ava Tucker of Kannapolis and Debbie Burris and husband Jimmy of Kannapolis; brother, Michael Tucker and wife Stephanie of Kannapolis; grandchild, Easton Walker of Lincolnton; and numberous nieces and nephews that he loved.
