Brenda Bostic Allen

Mrs. Brenda Bostic Allen, 65, passed away Friday, July 1, 2011, at her residence. A funeral service is scheduled for 2:30 pm Sunday, July 3, 2011, at Lady's Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Roy Dabbs will officiate. Interment will follow at Carolina Memorial Park in Kannapolis. The family will receive friends from 1:00 pm - 2:15 pm Sunday at Lady's Funeral Home. Mrs. Allen was born August 10, 1945 in Cabarrus County. She was a daughter of the late Coy Jack Bostic, Sr. and Aileen Dabbs Bostic. She worked as a fork lift operator for Fieldcrest-Cannon. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry Carson Allen; brother, Wayne Bostic and grandson, Adrian Harrell. Mrs. Allen is survived by three daughters, Lisa Dixon of Concord, Denise Dixon and Dana Harrell both of Kannapolis; two sisters, Jewel "Sue" Smith and, husband Ted of Kannapolis and Teresa Hileman and, husband David of Chester, VA; two brothers, Jack Bostic, Jr. and wife, Philda of Kannapolis and Jerry Bostic and wife, June of Concord; five grandchildren, Jenna Hilton, Brett Hilton, Aiden Navarrete, Alex Harrell and Michael Harrell.
