Ms. Brenda Kay Coe Eddings, 66, passed away Friday, November 21, 2014, at Frye Regional Medical Center in Hickory.

The family will receive friends at 2 to 3:00 pm Sunday, November 23, 2014, at Lady’s Funeral Home.

Ms. Eddings was born on September 25, 1948 in Cabarrus County. She was a daughter of the late Richard Joseph Coe, Sr. and Dorothy Lee Faircloth Coe. She attended A.L. Brown High School and was a member of Northside Baptist Church in Charlotte.

Ms. Eddings is survived by five sons, James Ellis Eddings, Jr., Richard Eddings, Kelly Ray Eddings, Thomas Eddings and Jonathan Eddings; one daughter, Carolyn Patricia Eddings Mesmer; two sisters, Carolyn Patricia Caldwell of Newton and Cynthia Mae Coe Simmons of Kannapolis; one brother, Richard Joseph Coe, Jr. of Messina, NY; and a very special friend, Doyle Odom of Hickory.
