Brylan Kruz Barrier

Brylan Kruz Barrier passed away suddenly, entering the presence of Jesus Christ on August 27, 2026 at the young age of 25.

He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Steve Addison. He will be lovingly remembered by his parents: Steve and Tammy Barrier, and Stephanie Addison; brothers: Michael Childers (Macy), Austin Childers (Brittany), Colton Barrier (Kaity), Christian Reynolds (Mikayla), and Te’olyn Woodruff (McKenzie); and the love of his life, Hannah Braman. He is also survived by many loving grandparents, aunts and uncles, nieces and nephews, and many amazing friends that were more closely resembling family.

Brylan lived his life to the fullest, never met a stranger, and is remembered to always be smiling and rocking his signature neon orange tide racing hat that belonged to his grandfather. He spent many of his days working alongside his dad and best friend, Steve, at Kannapolis Wrecker Service as a mechanic, riding motorcycles, golfing with his brothers, or snowboarding with his friends.

He will be missed by so many and will live on in all the people he loved and lives of others that he impacted during his time here on earth. Family and friends will be having a private viewing and a celebration of life at a later date.

Brylan was an organ and tissue donor, so his legacy will live on in those recipients whose lives he generously touched.
