Bucky Seaford

Bucky "Buck" Eliot Seaford, 67, of 2851 Davidson Highway, Concord, died Saturday, May 6, 2006, at NorthEast Medical Center. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday, May 9, 2006, at Lady's Funeral Home Chapel. The Rev. Aretta Buchanan and a chaplain from the VA Medical Center in Salisbury will officiate. Interment will follow at Carolina Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at Lady's Funeral Home. At other times they will be at the residence. Born May 29, 1938, in Cabarrus County, he was the son of Lula Walters Seaford of Concord and the late Spurgeon Seaford. He retired several years ago from the roofing business that he owned. He was a US Navy veteran and a member of DAV Chapter 27. Survivors in addition to his mother include his wife, Dora Cross Seaford; a son, Terry Seaford of Kannapolis; two daughters, Sharon Burris and Robbie Seaford, both of Concord; three sisters, Betty Ann Perry of Kannapolis, Betty Jean Alderman and Betty Lou Weaver, both of Concord; six grandchildren, Stephanie, Beth, Nikki, Zachary, Courtney, and Chad; and a great-grandchild, Parker.
