Carol Ann Michalak Cappuccetti

Ms. Carol Ann Michalak Cappuccetti, 86, of China Grove, and formerly of Meriden, CT, entered into eternal rest Wednesday, December 31, 2025.

Born on October 7, 1939, she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Catherine Landa Michalak, and the loving wife to the late Michael Cappuccetti, Jr. Carol attended Saint Stanislaus parochial school and Meriden Public Schools. Mike and Carol started Michalak's Auto Sales & Service Inc. in 1958 and operated the business for 20 years. Upon moving to NC, she was employed at Walmart for 15 years before retiring.

Carol is survived by her son, Michael Cappuccetti, III and his wife Elizabeth; her two granddaughters, Maria Blackwelder and husband Cody, Amanda Eslick and husband Brandon; a great granddaughter, Mia Blackwelder; and a great grandson, Anthony Eslick, all of Mooresville, NC. Carol is also survived by her sister, Patricia A. Williams; and many nephews, all of CT.

A private memorial service will be held at Saint Theresa Church, Mooresville, NC. Inurnment will be at the convenience of the family.
