Ms. Cathy Owens Scarborough, 66, passed away Saturday, December 17, 2016, at Glenn A. Kiser Hospice House in Salisbury.
A graveside service is scheduled for 3:00 pm Tuesday, December 20, 2016, at West Lawn Memorial Park.
Cathy was born August 16, 1950 in Mooresville, NC. She was a daughter of the late William Fred Owens and Ruthie Chrisco Owens.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a great grandson, Kingston Aistrop; grandson, Brandon Scarborough; and a brother, Dolphus (Boots) Owens.
Mrs. Sigmund is survived by two sons, Rex Scarborough of China Grove and Rickey Scarborough of Salisbury; three granddaughters, Amanda, Jasmine and Amber Scarborough; one grandson, Jordan Scarborough; two great grandchildren, Jayden (JJ) and Makayla Arrington; and one sister, Libby Owens of Salisbury.
