Cecil Ravon Griffith

Mr. Cecil Ravon Griffith, 61, passed away unexpectedly, Saturday, November 9, 2013, at Alamance Regional Medical Center.

A graveside service will be held at 2:30 pm Tuesday, November 12, 2013, at Carolina Memorial Park. Rev. Don Davis will officiate.

Mr. Griffith was born on January 21, 1952 in Kannapolis. He was a son of the late Herbert C. Griffith and Malonie Pressley Griffith. He graduated from A.L. Brown High School and graduated from NC State with a degree in textiles. He enjoyed tropical fish and wrote articles about the fish for different magazines.

Mr. Griffith is survived by his brother, Kenneth Griffith and wife Eleanor of Kannapolis; and a number of cousins.
