Mrs. Cecile Olga Ziegler, 87, passed away Friday, November 3, 2017, at her home.

A memorial service is scheduled for 6:00 pm Friday, November 10, 2017, at St. Martin Lutheran Church. Rev. K. Raymond Sipe will officiate. The family will receive friends following the service in the Fellowship Hall.

Mrs. Ziegler was born March 15, 1930 in Lodz, Polond. She was a daughter of the late Bertold Schiller and Olga Leckler. She was an active member of St. Martin Lutheran Church. Cecile enjoyed all types of crafts, especially sewing, knitting and crochet work. She was a nurturing mother, that truly loved her family. She was a sales associate for Sarah Coventry Jewelry.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Ziegler; and a brother, George Schiller.

Mrs. Ziegler is survived by her three children, Kenneth Ziegler and his wife Sabrina of Denver, NC; daughters, Lynn Myers and husband Barry of Concord, and Karin Ziegler of Germany; two brothers, Herbert Schiller of Ohio, and Edward Schiller of New York; one sister, Gerda Frenzel of Virginia; six grandchildren, Nathan and wife Kirsten Ziegler, Kyle Ziegler, Alexander Myers, Jennifer Sutton and husband David, Sabina Hein and Olaf Jess; four great-grandchildren, Avery, Bryson, and Asher Ziegler, Dominick Hein.

Memorials may be sent to St. Martin Lutheran Church, 5469 NC Hwy 200, Concord, NC 28025.
