Charlene Andria Moorefield

Mrs. Charlene Andria Bumgardner Moorefield, 70, passed away Tuesday, July 22, 2014, at Carolinas Medical Center-NorthEast.

A memorial service will be held at 10:00 am Sunday, August 3, 2014, at Calvary Tabernacle. Pastor Eddie Hodge will officiate.

Mrs. Moorefield was born on May 15, 1944 in Cabarrus County. She was a daughter of the late William Anderson Bumgardner and Rachel Lois Cline Bumgardner. She was a graduate of Grayslake North High School in Illinois. She worked as a cashier for K & W cafeteria in Cornelius. Mrs. Moorefield was an active member of Calvary Tabernacle and enjoyed arts and crafts. She was a very caring and loving mother and grandmother.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Billy “Dusty” Wayne Moorefield; and daughter, Gale Smith.

Mrs. Moorefield is survived by four sons, Michael DeHart, Timothy DeHart and Christopher Tallent, all of Concord and Derek Elms of South Myrtle Beach, SC; a sister; a brother; eight grandchildren; and two great grandchildren.
