Charles Ethan Beaver

Charles Ethan Beaver, 88, of 210 Edgewood Circle, China Grove, and formerly of Superior Avenue, Kannapolis, died, Monday, February 25, 2008, at Rowan Regional Medical Center in Salisbury. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, February 29, 2008 at North Kannapolis United Methodist Church with the Rev. Roger Bostic officiating. Burial will follow at Carolina Memorial Park. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 10 until 11 a.m. at the church. Mr. Beaver was born on July 16, 1919 in Rowan County, a son of the late Charlie Edward Beaver and Mary Deal Beaver. He retired from the No. 1 weave room of Cannon Mills, Plant One and was member of North Kannapolis United Methodist Church. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Mattie Aycock Beaver; and a daughter, Judy Loretta Trexler. Survivors include two sons, Randall Ethan Beaver of Cape Coral, Florida and Charles Steven Beaver of Kannapolis; five grandchildren, Todd Beaver, Duane Beaver, Randall Beaver, Jr., Elizabeth Beaver Rasmussen, and Leslie Trexler; and five great-grandchildren. Memorials may be sent to North Kannapolis United Methodist Church, 1307 North Main Street, Kannapolis, NC 28081 in memory of Mr. Beaver.
