Charles Raymond Boyles Jr.

Mr. Charles Raymond Boyles, Jr., 70, passed away Sunday, November 12, 2017, at his home in Concord.

A funeral service is scheduled for 11:00 am Friday, November 17, 2017, at Rock Grove United Methodist Church, 1050 Rock Grove Church Road, Salisbury, NC 28146. Rev. Brian M. Crady will officiate. Interment will follow at 1:00 pm at Salisbury National Cemetery with Military Honors provided by the Cabarrus County Veterans Honor Guard.

The family will receive friends from 10 to 10:45 am Friday at Rock Grove United Methodist Church.

Mr. Boyles was born September 22, 1947 in Richmond, VA. He was a son of the late Charles Raymond Boyles, Sr. and Ruth Taylor Boyles. He was a member of Rock Grove United Methodist Church, the American Legion and Vietnam Veterans of America. Mr. Boyles was a veteran of the United States Army, having served in the Vietnam War.

Mr. Boyles is survived by his wife, Diane Horton Boyles, of the home; daughter, Jennifer Boyles of Columbia, SC; son, Charles "C.J." Raymond Boyles, III and wife Shannon of Kannapolis; and two granddaughters, Meghan Berlin and Rebecca Blackwell.
