Charles Edward Cook

Mr. Charles Edward "Charlie" Cook, 36, of 908 Kimberly Lane, Kannapolis, died Monday, May 26, 2003, at his residence. Funeral services will be conducted 2 p.m. Wednesday, May 28, 2003, at Lady's Funeral Home Chapel. The. Rev. Richard Pethel will officiate. Interment will follow at Kannapolis Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. At other times they will be at the residence. Born July 15, 1966, in Iredell County, he was a son of Linda Canupp Cook of Kannapolis and the late Arnold Cook, Sr. He was a truck driver for Varner Hauling and Grading in Kannapolis. Mr. Cook was a member of West A Tabernacle Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife, Deborah Tucker Cook of Kannapolis; his mother, Linda Canupp Cook of Kannapolis; a daughter, Sara Cook of Davidson; three sons, Darren Cook of Kannapolis, Greg Ragan of Davidson, Cody Bunton of Kannapolis; two stepchildren, Jenny Bunton and Tommy Bunton, both of Kannapolis; two brothers; A. J. Cook, Jr. and Berry Cook, both of Kannapolis; his former wife, Kay Cook of Davidson; two grandchildren, Kelly Bunton and Emma Bunton; four nieces and two nephews. Memorials may be sent to West A Tabernacle Baptist Church Youth Group, 1218 West A Street, Kannapolis, NC 28081.
