Charles David Miles

Mr. Charles David Miles, 62, passed away Tuesday, November 22, 2011, at his residence. A funeral service is scheduled for 2:00 pm Friday, November 25, 2011, at Lady's Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Billy Finch will officiate. Interment will follow at Carolina Memorial Park in Kannapolis. The family will receive friends from 12:30 to 1:30 pm Friday at Lady's Funeral Home. Mr. Miles was born December 28, 1948 in Davidson County. He was the son of the late George William Miles and Margaret Brown Miles. He was a self employed truck driver. Mr. Miles was of the Baptist faith. He enjoyed fishing and spending time with his entire family. Mr. Miles is survived by his life partner of thirty years, Peggy Gainey; four sisters; three brothers; seven step-children; twelve grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren.
