Charles Eddie Sims

Mr. Charles Eddie Sims, 74, died Saturday, April, 4, 2009, in St. Louis, Mo. Funeral services for Mr. Sims will be conducted in Lady's Funeral Home Chapel, Kannapolis, Monday, April 13, 2009, at 2 p.m. The family will receive friends from noon to 1:30 p.m. Monday prior to the service. Mr. Sims was born in Davidson County on January 3, 1935, a son of the late Eddie Sims and Ila Mae Wallace Sims. An employee of the Vadalia Bus Lines in St. Louis, he was a tour bus driver. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two children, Angela Christine Sims and April Dawn Sims. Survivors include a daughter, Charisma Gayle Rhodes; two sons, Eddie Sims and David Sims; nine grandchildren; one brother, Bobby Sims; and a sister, Bonnie Adams.
