Mrs. Cheryl Frances Landreth Shumate, 73, passed away Sunday, July 5, 2026, at Tucker Hospice House in Kannapolis.
Cheryl was born October 2, 1952 in Greensboro. She was the daughter of the late Charles Landreth and Alma Lee Haddock Landreth. She worked for a Pharmaceutical Company as a Corparate Secretary. She enjoyed working with various crafts and watching YouTube TV.
Cheryl is survived by her husband, Bruce Allen Shumate; two brothers, C.B. Landreth and Gary Phipps; and her pet companion, Izzy.
