Claire Marie Starkey King

Mrs. Claire Marie Starkey King, 66, passed away Thursday, December 27, 2018, at CHS-NorthEast in Concord.

A funeral service is scheduled for 3:00 pm Sunday, December 30, 2018, at Lady's Funeral Home Chapel. Pastor David Jacobs will officiate. The family will receive friends from 2 to 2:45 pm Sunday at Lady's Funeral Home.

Mrs. King was born May 11, 1952 in Rockland County, NY. She was a daughter of the late Royal Starkey, Sr. and Claire Dusenberry Brownsell. She was the Office Manager for Cameo Towing and Recovery in New City, NY. Claire loved to read and joking around. She loved being with her babies and family as they were her life. She would always give her last dollar to help someone. She attended Concord First Assembly.

Mrs. King is survived by her daughter, Melissa Marie Irizarry and significant other James Firenze of Concord; two step-sons, Michael King and wife Heather of Salisbury, NC and Matthew King and wife Elise of Bloomingburg, NY; two sisters, Patricia Rickli of Bardonia, NY and Tracy Brownsell of Port Jervis, NY; two brothers, Royal Starkey, Jr. of Wallkill, NY and Wayne Brownsell of Tennessee; and 10 grandchildren.
