Clarence David Simpson

Mr. Clarence David Simpson, 53, passed away Thursday, January 18, 2018, at his home in Kannapolis.

A funeral service is scheduled for 3:00 pm Sunday, January 21, 2018, at Lady's Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Jessie Overcash will officiate. Interment will follow at Roberta Baptist Church Cemetery in Concord.

The family will receive friends from 1 to 2:30 pm Sunday at Lady's Funeral Home.

Mr. Simpson was born April 27, 1964 in Cabarrus County. He was the son of David Simpson and Barbara Cline Kirkland. He was a member of God's Tabernacle Freewill Baptist in Kannapolis. He was also a veteran of the U.S. Army. He enjoyed putting model cars together, as well as fishing and playing golf.

Mr. Simpson is survived by his wife, Linda Gulledge Simpson; father, David Simpson and wife, Cynthia of Landis; mother, Barbara Cline Kirkland of Midland; sister, Kimberly Honeycutt and husband Ronnie of Midland; and a step-son, Stephen Campbell of Kannapolis.
