Claude Robert Patterson

Mr. Claude Robert Patterson, 86, passed away Monday, November 16, 2015, at Transitional Health Services in Kannapolis.

A funeral service is scheduled for 1:00 pm Thursday, November 19, 2015, at Lady’s Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Steve Wilson will officiate. Interment with military funeral honors will follow at West Lawn Memorial Park in China Grove.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8:00 pm Wednesday at Lady’s Funeral Home.

Mr. Patterson was born November 28, 1928 in Rowan County. He was a son of the late Otha Alexander Patterson and Ruth Bernice Cline Patterson. He worked for Hoechst Celanese formerly Fiber Industries in Salisbury in the maintenance department. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force having served during the Korean Conflict.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three sisters, Grace Aldridge, Willie Moffitt and Faye Sartain.

Mr. Patterson is survived by his wife, Mildred Lambert Patterson; two sons, Jerry Patterson and wife Lisa of Charlotte and Michael Patterson and wife Jeannie of Kannapolis; brother, Hugh “Buddy” Patterson of Faith; three grandchildren, Phillip Patterson and wife Ashley, Kinzie Horton and Chris Ford; three great grandchildren, Kadence, Grant and Taylor; and caregiver, Lisa Fields.
