Clement Bonaventure Glowienka

Mr. Clement Bonaventure Glowienka, 90, passed away on Sunday, February 17, 2013, at CMC-NorthEast in Concord.

A memorial service will be held at 12:00 pm Saturday, February 23, 2013, at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Kannapolis. Father Al Riquelme, C.Ss.R. will officiate.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 7:30 pm Friday, February 22, 2013, at Lady's Funeral Home. A prayer service will be held at 7:30 pm Friday at Lady's Funeral Home Chapel.

Mr. Glowienka was born on July 16, 1922 in Milwaukee, WI. He was a son of the late Clement John Glowienka and Sophia Maria Dettlaff Glowienka. He was an electrical engineer. Mr. Glowienka was a very active member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church.

Mr. Glowienka is survived by his wife, Ann Agnes Kokalj Glowienka; daughter, Jean G. Simon and husband Dexter, of Superior, CO; three sons; John C. Glowienka and wife Linda of Boyds, MD, James P. Glowienka and wife Linda of Norwalk, CT and Paul R. Glowienka and wife Brenda of Beaver Creek, OH; sister, Emerine Glowienka of Gallup, NM; brother, Dennis B. Glowienka of Canon City, CO; seven grandchildren; and eight great grandchildren.
