Colleen Burrage

Mrs. Colleen Pendleton Burrage, 87, passed away Wednesday, May 18, 2016, at her residence, surrounded by her loving family.

A memorial service is scheduled for 12:00 pm Friday, May 20, 2016, at Lady's Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Tim Newton will officiate. Burial will follow at Carolina Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends from 11:00 am - 11:45 pm Friday at Lady's Funeral Home.

Mrs. Burrage was born April 13, 1929 in Cabarrus County, NC. She was a daughter of the late Lacy Franklin Pendleton and Flonnie Smith Pendleton. She was a homemaker. She loved her Lord and to attend church, and loved spending time with her family.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James Thomas Burrage.

Mrs. Burrage is survived by son, Jimmy Burrage and wife Carolyn; three daughters, Krista Dennis and husband Greg, Debra Moss and husband Johnny, Ann Blackwell and husband Vince, all of Concord; sisters, Barbara Safrit and Sharon Talbert; six grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. She was preceded by brother, Lacy Pendleton, Jr. and sister, Marilyn Flowe.

The family wishes to thank Hospice & Palliative Care of Cabarrus County for the special care that was given to their mother during her illness.
