Connie Louise Billings Cooley

Mrs. Connie Louise Billings Cooley, 81, formerly of Bishop Lane, died Monday, December 29, 2008, at Deal Care Inn in Mooresville. A funeral service is scheduled for 3:00 pm Wednesday, December 31, 2008, at Lady's Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Robert D. Howard will officiate. The family will receive friends from 1:30 to 2:30 pm Wednesday at Lady's Funeral Home. Mrs. Cooley was born July 27, 1927 in Cabarrus County. She was a daughter of the late William Marcus Billings and Nannie Donahue Billings. She was a homemaker and member of Lakewood Baptist Church. Mrs. Cooley is survived by brother, Bobby Billings of Kannapolis; sister, Betty Childers of Kannapolis; and several nieces and nephews. The family would like to offer special thanks to the staff at Deal Care Inn for their love and special care of Connie.
