Connie Orine Palmer

Connie Orine Palmer, 64, of 1932 Normandy Road, Kannapolis, died Sunday, September 18, 2005, at her residence. Funeral services will be conducted at 3:30 p.m. Tuesday, September 20, 2005, at Lady's Funeral Home Chapel. Pastor Joe Harding, Jr. and the Rev. Steve Dagenhart will officiate. Interment will follow at West Lawn Memorial Park in China Grove. The family will receive friends from 2:00 to 3:15 p.m. Tuesday at Lady's Funeral Home. At other times they will be at the residence. Born May 9, 1941, in Rowan County, she was the daughter of the late Olen John Palmer, Sr. and Catherine Scercy Palmer. She was a member of Bethel Wesleyan Church and formerly worked in the Weave Room and Bleachery at Cannon Mills, Plant One. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Ross Honeycutt; and a son, Gregory Dale Honeycutt. Survivors include a daughter, Gwendolyn H. Wise and husband, Robert Lee Wise, Sr., of China Grove; a brother, David Ingram, Jr. and wife, Janice, of Lansing; and two grandchildren, Joshua Ross Wise of Concord and Robert Wise, Jr. of Mooresville.
