Mr. Curtis Eugene Campbell, 75, passed away Friday, September 22, 2023, at his home in Kannapolis.
A funeral service is scheduled for 2:00 pm Wednesday, September 27, 2023, at Lady's Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Carolina Memorial Park in Kannapolis.
The family will receive friends from 1 to 1:45 pm Wednesday at Lady's Funeral Home.
Mr. Campbell was born March 1, 1948 in Cabarrus County. He was the son of the late Curtis Acy Campbell and Jewel Daniel Campbell. He was a retired IT Specialist for Duke Power and Charlotte Pipe and Foundry. Curtis was a proud veteran of the U.S. Army having served in Vietnam. He loved working on cars and in his yard. He was always there for people that needed help. He was also an avid NASCAR and Jeff Gordon fan.
Curtis is survived by four children, Skyela Campbell of Concord, Sheri Bishop of Kannapolis, Todd Campbell and wife Melissa of Kannapolis and Jonathan Campbell of Clarksville, TN; sister, Linda Kay Moose of China Grove; and four grandchildren, Anthony Heflin, Dillon Campbell, Tyler Campbell and Sayori Campbell.
