Curtis Wayne Moss

Mr. Curtis Wayne Moss, 49 years old, was born March 20, 1963 in Iredell County to Shirley Perkins Whitley of Albemarle and the late Kenneth Edward Moss, Sr. On May 12, 2012 he left for awhile to help make a place for us.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm, Wednesday, May 16, 2012 at Lady's Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Delane Burris will officiate. Interment will follow at Carolina Memorial Park in Kannapolis.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8:00 pm, Tuesday, May 15, 2012 at Lady's Funeral Home.

Curtis loved fishing, golfing with his friends, brothers and great nephew, Ethan Ward. He was an avid NASCAR fan. For those who first met Curtis, he seemed to be a very shy man. Once you got to know him, you found him to be full of humor and a great friend to many. Mr. Moss was employed by Racer's Inc. as a shop supervisor.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by his sisters, Vicky Moss, Peggy Lynch, Shirley Greene and Tammy Strider all of Kannapolis; brothers, Eddie Moss of Concord, Jeff Moss and Harvey Greene both of Kannapolis, and Rudy Whitley, Eugene Whitley and Jr. Whitley all of Albemarle; step-mother, Dorothy Moss of Kannapolis and his faithful canine companion, Girl.
