Cynthia Darnell Sonnet Flowe

Mrs. Cynthia Sonnet Flowe, 71, passed away Sunday, January 31, 2021, at Atrium Health Cabarrus in Concord following a number of years with Multiple Sclerosis and then Alzheimer's disease.

A graveside service is scheduled for 2:00 pm Thursday, February 4, 2021, at Carolina Memorial Park. Rev. Ken McQueen will officiate. The family will receive friends from 7 to 7:30 pm Wednesday at Lady's Funeral Home.

Mrs. Flowe was born January 9, 1950 in Concord. She was a daughter of the late Henry William Sonnet and Annie Laura Plyler Sonnet. She was a member of Concord First Assembly and a 1968 graduate of A.L. Brown High School. In her early years, she worked at Cabarrus Memorial Hospital and doctor's offices, and then became a stay at home mom. Cynthia loved her animals, Taylor, Zoey and Little Bit.

Mrs. Flowe is survived by her husband, Ray L. Flowe; a daughter, Laura Flowe McQueen and husband Darin of Concord; step-son, Greg T. Flowe of Stanfield; a granddaughter, Chole McQueen; and a special friend, Linda Morrison.
