Darlene Fulcher Sasser

Mrs. Darlene "Dot" Fulcher Sasser, 89, of 713 Barclay Court, died Sunday, October 21, 2007, at her residence. A funeral service is scheduled for 3:00 pm Tuesday, October 23, 2007, at Lady's Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Steve Sprinkle and Rev. James Byers will officiate. Entombment will follow at West Lawn Memorial Park Mausoleum in China Grove. The family will receive friends from 1:00 pm - 2:45 pm Tuesday at Lady's Funeral Home. Mrs. Sasser was born March 4, 1918 in Jefferson, GA. She was a daughter of the late Rufus L. Fulcher and Claudia Roberts Fulcher. She retired from Cone Mills and was a member of New Hope Presbyterian Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James Sasser, who died in 1980. Mrs. Sasser is survived by a daughter, Glenda Huffman and her husband Tony of China Grove; one sister, Evelyn Mault of China Grove; four grandchildren, Andy Huffman and wife, Stacye, Michael Huffman and wife, Amy, Jana Burr and husband, Andrew and Aaron Huffman; four great-grandchildren, Aubree Huffman, Drew Huffman, Ava Huffman and Brayden Burr.
