Darryl Allen Wright

Mr. Darryl Allen Wright, 34, passed away Friday, August 3, 2018, in Salisbury.

A funeral service is scheduled for 2:00 pm Monday, August 13, 2018 at Friendship Freewill Baptist Church. Rev. George Morris will officiate. Interment will follow at Carolina Memorial Park in Kannapolis.

The family will receive friends from 12 to 1:30 pm at the church prior to the service.

Mr. Wright was born January 16, 1984 in Forsyth County. He was a son of Joey Wright and Donna Starnes Wright. He was a member of Friendship Freewill Baptist Church. Mr. Wright enjoyed hunting for deer and ducks, and also fishing. He owned and operated his own mechanic service, American Roadside Service. Allen was always there to help in any way that he could. He was very close to his family. He was loved by his family and many friends and will be very missed.

He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Conrad Wright; and two grandmothers, Nadine Starnes and Clara Rose Starnes.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Wright is survived by his sister, Stacey Wright Morris and husband Jeremy of Salisbury; maternal grandfather, Gary Starnes of Kannapolis; paternal grandmother, Margie Wright of China Grove; step-grandfather, Andy Akers of SC; one niece; one nephew; three great nephews; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends.
