David Ray Gordon, Sr.

Mr. David Ray Gordon, Sr., 57, of 644 Skyland Drive, Mt. Pleasant, died Monday, April 25, 2005, at Avante at Concord. A graveside service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, May 4, 2005, at the VA National Cemetery in Salisbury. Rev. Marvin Honeycutt will officiate. Born August 21, 1947, in Rowan County, he was the son of the late William Howard Gordon and Hollen Pickens Gordon. He was a veteran of the US Army. Survivors include a son, David Gordon, Jr. of Conway, SC; two daughters, Michelle Hatcher of Myrtle Beach, SC and Amanda Gordon of Daytona, Florida; a sister, Mary Jane Jones of China Grove; and special friends, Louise and Paul Walker of Mt. Pleasant.
