David Wayne Haigler

Mr. David Wayne Haigler, 42, of Concord, died Thursday, July 23, 2009 at Carolinas Medical Center-NorthEast. Funeral services will be conducted at noon Monday, July 27, 2009 at Friendship Freewill Baptist Church in Kannapolis. The Rev. Marler Starnes will officiate. Burial will follow at West Concord Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Sunday at Lady's Funeral Home. At other times, they will be at the home of his mother, Mrs. Brenda Haigler Purvis of Concord. Born November 21, 1966 in Cabarrus County, he was the son of Mrs. Brenda Haigler Purvis of Concord and the late Harold "Butch" Haigler. He was the owner and operator of Quality Building Services. Survivors, in addition to his mother, are his wife, Gladys Hunsucker Haigler of the home; a son, Chris Haigler and wife Lauren of Kannapolis; a daughter, Shana Haigler of the home; and a sister, Susan Haigler Love and husband Terry of Concord.
