David Bruce Johns

Mr. David Bruce Johns, 77, passed away Friday, April 12, 2013, at his home.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am Wednesday, April 17, 2013, at First Presbyterian Church in Kannapolis. Rev. Darryl Evans will officiate.

Mr. Johns was born on August 28, 1935 in Coldwater, MI. He was a son of the late Carlton Johns and Maybell Baylif Johns. He served in the US Air Force during the Korean War. He worked as a tool maker in a machine shop.

Mr. Johns is survived by his wife, Martha Lovelady Johns; son, Pete Johns of Kannapolis; three step-children, Kathy Eagle, Linda Sleeper and Brian Grant all of Mich.; sister, Kay Morrison of Michigan; five grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

Lady's Funeral Home is assisting the family of Mr. Johns.
