David Luther Lawing

David Luther Lawing, 69, passed away Tuesday, July 10, 2018, at his residence.

A memorial service is scheduled for 3:00 pm Thursday, July 12, 2018, at Lady's Funeral Home Chapel. The Rev. Mike Roper will officiate.

Mr. Lawing was born April 5, 1949 in Cabarrus County. He was a son of the late Cecil Lawing and Virginia Tucker Lawing. David was a member of Memorial Baptist Church. He was employed as a Financial Manager. David enjoyed music of all kinds, spending time at the beach, but most important to him was his family.

David is survived by his wife, Sandra "Kay" Lawing; two sons, William Lewis Lawing of Kannapolis and Robert Wayne Lawing of Charlotte; one brother, Steve Lawing of Concord and six grandchildren.
