David Barry Ritchie

Mr. David Barry Ritchie, 72, passed away Wednesday, August 24, 2016, at Carolinas Healthcare System - NorthEast in Concord.

A funeral service was held at 2:00 pm Saturday, August 27, 2016, at Crosspointe Baptist Church. Rev. Leon Hawks officiated.

Mr. Ritchie was born October 25, 1943 in Cabarrus County, NC. He was the son of the late Martin Leonard Ritchie and Irene Brown Crainshaw Ritchie. He owned and operated Ritchie Refrigeration. Mr. Ritchie was a member of Crosspointe Baptist Church.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers, Bill Ritchie, Wallace Ritchie and Steve Ritchie.

Mr. Ritchie is survived by his wife of 55 years Rosemary Ritchie; three sons, Carl Ritchie and Eric Ritchie and wife Tonya, both of Kannapolis and Mark Ritchie of China Grove; sister, Jane Middleton and husband Jack of Kannapolis; two granddaughters, Amanda Ritchie and Morgan Ritchie; and one grandson, Dillon Ritchie.
