David Leroy Starnes

Mr. David Leroy Starnes, 46, of Becky Hill Road, Lexington, died Tuesday, March 13, 2007, at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home in Winston Salem. Funeral services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Friday at Lady's Funeral Home Chapel. The Rev. Fred Moretz will officiate. Interment will follow at West Concord Cemetery in Concord. The family will receive friends from 9 to 10 a.m. Friday at the funeral home. Born July 5, 1960, in Kannapolis, Mr. Starnes was the son of the late Andy T. Starnes and Carrie Hartsell Starnes. He was employed as a nursing assistant. Survivors include his special girlfriend, Ruth Heninger of Linwood; three sisters, Belinda S. Dunlap of Kannapolis, Janice Dixon of Rockwell and Gracie McRorie of China Grove; and two brothers, Baxter Starnes of Concord and Johnny Starnes of Kannapolis.
