Deborah Jean Wilhite

Mrs. Deborah "Debbie" Jean Yow Wilhite, 52, of Cavin Lane passed away Thursday, August 2, 2012 at her residence.

A funeral service is scheduled for 4:00 pm Sunday, August 5, 2012, at Lady's Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Chuck Overcash will officiate.

The family will receive friends from 2:30 to 3:45 pm Sunday at Lady's Funeral Home.

Mrs. Wilhite was born October 29, 1959 in Concord. She was a daughter of the late Roy Eugene Yow and Wilma Jane Cannup Yow. Prior to her retirement, she worked for Terry Products in Kannapolis and in the Sewing Department of Cannon Mills Plant 1. She was a member of Prince of Peace Freewill Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her daughter, April Wilhite.

Mrs. Wilhite is survived by her husband, Dean Wilhite; son, Chris Wilhite and wife Uriah of Kannapolis; sister, Tammy Basham and husband Rick of Kannapolis; brother, Darrell Yow and wife Debbie of Kannapolis; three grandchildren, Dawson, Rylee and Coner, all of Kannapolis; mother-in-law, Annie Wilhite of Kannapolis; sister-in-law, Patty and Bud Baker of Kannapolis; brothers-in-law, Bobby and Angela Wilhite, Ray and Sandy Wilhite and Randy and Mikey Wilhite, all of Kannapolis; and a number of nieces and nephews that loved her.
