Debra Nadine Groszer Mullis

Our Beloved Debra Nadine Groszer-Mullis, 69, went home to be with her Lord on Saturday, March 16, 2024. She died unexpectedly peacefully in her sleep after several years of declined health.

A memorial service is scheduled for 2:00 pm Saturday, June 8, 2024, at Lady's Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive from 12 to 1:45 pm prior to the service.

Debra was born February 20, 1955 in Baltimore, MD. She was a daughter of the late Gustav Jerome Groszer and Bertha "Bee" Burnette Bochiardy Groszer. She worked for United Healthcare in the Legal Department.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Gary L. Mullis of Concord, Greensboro and Baltimore, MD; recently her fiancé, David R. Brown; and brother, Darryl L. Groszer.

Debra is survived by sister-in-law, Cecilia A Groszer of Baltimore, MD; niece, Lisa A Groszer, (Tim Musser) of Baltimore MD; great-niece Emily Musser; nephew, Kristopher L Groszer Sr. (Colleen) of Lewes, DE; great-nephew, Kristopher L. Groszer, Jr; and great-niece, Sophie M Groszer. Also, she is survived by cousins-in-law who assisted with her care, Sarah Mullis Meitzler, Mark Mullis, David B. Mullis, Joyce M. Small (Johnny), and James Mullis (Sandra).
