Della Francis Clifton

Della Francis Barrett Clifton, 58, passed away Sunday, March 30, 2013, at Novant Health Rowan Medical Center.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm, Thursday, April 3, 2014, at Hurst-Scott Funeral Home, Richlands, VA. Rev. Darrell Clifton will officiate. Interment will follow at Beve Keen Cemetery in Grimsleyville, VA. The family will receive friends from 1 to 2 pm Thursday at Hurst-Scott Funeral Home prior to the service.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8:00 pm, Tuesday, April 1, 2014, at Lady’s Funeral Home.

Della was born on August 20, 1955 in Owsley County, KY. She was a daughter of the late Junior Barrett and Mary Ramsey Barrett Richardson.

Della is survived by her husband, Kenneth J. Clifton; two sons, Richard Agey and Sherman Agey, both of Salisbury; three sisters, Betty R. Ellis, Ruby Leis and Janie Callahan, all of Richmond, KY; brother, Johnny Richardson of Richmond, KY; and granddaughter, Tristan “Sissy” Agey.
