Dennis Eugene Johnson

Mr. Dennis Eugene Johnson, 66, passed away Tuesday, March 22, 2016, at Gordon Hospice House in Statesville.

A graveside service is scheduled for 1:00 pm Friday, March 25, 2016, at Carolina Memorial Park.

Mr. Johnson was born November 16, 1949 in Kannapolis. He was a son of the late Franklin Eugene Johnson and Bonnie Lorene Millsaps Johnson. He worked in the construction industry as a contractor.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death a son, Gregory Johnson and a sister, Patricia Marie Johnson.

Mr. Johnson is survived by his wife, Marlene Brown Johnson; two sons, Dennis F. Johnson of Kannapolis and Joseph A. Johnson of Mt. Pleasant; four brothers, Jerry Johnson of Crawfordville, FL, Terry Triplett of Kannapolis, Thurman Luther of Andrews and Ronnie Miller of Statesville; two sisters, Elaine Owenby of Andrews and Anita Stuart of Winston-Salem; and three grandchildren, Matthew, Allison and Chandra Johnson.
