Derick John Thomason, 14, entered into God's presence on Saturday, February 23, 2013.
A memorial service for Derick will be held at 3:00 pm Saturday, March 2, 2013, at Lane Street Baptist Church. Dr. Jon Casteel and Brother Charles Duncan, Sr. will officiate.
Derick was born March 16, 1998. He was a 9th grade student at A.L. Brown High School.
He was a beloved son of Regina Johnson and Andy Thomason. He is also survived by his sister, Kayley; two brothers, Robert Thomason and Cody O'��Shannahan; grandmother, Edna Flynn; grandfather, Gene Shannahan; aunt, Jamie Percle; uncle, David Porter; and godfather, Dan Brouillette.
