Dezzi Inell Sills

Dezzi Inell Sills, 88, formerly of Dakota Street, Kannapolis, died Friday, October 7, 2005, at Sunrise at Eastover in Charlotte. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Lady's Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Carolina Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 1 to 2 p.m. Tuesday at Lady's Funeral Home. Born December 4, 1916, in Gaston County, she was a daughter of the late Perry Fletcher Sills and Ocia Falls Sills. She retired several years ago from Cannon Mills, where she was employed for 30 years. She was a charter member of Royal Oaks Presbyterian Church, where she was a member of the choir. She was also a member of the Eastern Star. In addition to her parents, shew was preceded in death by three brothers, James Sills, Coy Sills and Joseph P. Sills. Survivors include three sisters, Jeanette Sills McCommons of Kannapolis, Ruby Sills Brown of N. Myrtle Beach, SC and Mary Sills Davis of Charlotte; and a number of nieces, nephews, and grand nieces and nephews.
