Diane Faggart Murph

Mrs. Diane Faggart Murph, 63, passed away Saturday, August 12, 2017, at Tucker Hospice House.

A memorial service is scheduled for 12:30 pm Wednesday, August 16, 2017, at Genesis Baptist Church. Rev. Gene Edwards will officiate. The family will receive friends from 11 to 12:15 pm Wednesday at the church.

Mrs. Murph was born November 20, 1953 in Cabarrus County. She was a daughter of the late Harold Faggart and Inez Drye Faggart. She was a 1972 graduate of A.L. Brown High School. She was a charter member of Genesis Baptist Church. She, along with her husband, owned and operated Murph’s Rental Properties. Diane loved spending time wither her grandsons and also enjoyed the mountains.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by son, Chad Wayne Murph; sister, Dot Freeman; and two brothers, Edward and Wayne Faggart.

Mrs. Murph is survived by her husband, Jerry Wayne Murph; daughter, Amber Pittman and husband Don of China Grove; and two grandsons, Zackary and Noah Pittman.
