Dianne Lambert Barker

Mrs. Dianne Lambert Barker, 64, passed away Tuesday, January 2, 2018, at Carolinas HealthCare System-NorthEast in Concord.

A celebration of her life is scheduled for 11:00 am Saturday, January 6, 2018, at Crossroads Church in Concord. Associate Pastor Bobby Dionne will officiate. Interment will follow at Greenlawn Cemetery in China Grove.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8:00 pm Friday at Lady's Funeral Home.

Mrs. Barker was born November 25, 1953 in Cabarrus County. She was a daughter of the late Carl Lee Lambert and Juanita Hildreth Lambert. She was the owner of Newtech Graphics in Kannapolis and a member of the Kannapolis Chamber of Commerce. Her hobbies included shopping, reading, and a fondness for Dr. Pepper, Krispy Kreme doughnuts, and chocolate. Her greatest passions were spending time with her family, grandchildren, great grandchildren, and animals.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Rosa Lee Lambert; and a brother, Johnny Carl Lambert.

Mrs. Barker is survived by her husband, Kevin Barker; three children, Tisha M. Sarvis of Concord, Kristin Losh and husband Matt of Faith and Patrick Barker and wife Alexah of Huntersville; sister, Shane Lowe and husband Gary of Kannapolis; two brothers, David Lambert and wife Eunice of China Grove and Daniel Lambert and wife Leah of Kannapolis; four grandchildren, Bray Holbrook Barbee and husband Lance of Oakboro, Avery Ryne Sarvis of Concord, Skyler Smith and Kaitlyn Losh, both of Faith; two great grandchildren, Rhett Barbee and Case Barbee, both of Oakboro; and numerous nieces and nephews.
