Donald Wayne Ye

Donald Wayne Drye, 60, of 8220 Malibu Road, died Friday, March 24, 2006, at his residence. There will be a memorial service at 4 p.m. Sunday, March 26, 2006, at Lady's Funeral Home Chapel in Kannapolis. Mr. Daniel Hunsucker will officiate. The family will receive friends from 3 until 4 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. At other times they will be at the residence. Mr. Drye was born April 20, 1945, in Cabarrus County, the son of the late B.W. Drye and Daisy Horton Drye. He was a roofer and was employed by a number of roofing contractors. Survivors include two sisters, Mrs. Peggy Julian and husband, Frankie, of Mooresville and Mrs. Patty Safrit of the home; also surviving are a number of nieces, nephews and cousins.
