Donna Susan Connell Wright

Mrs. Donna Susan Connell Wright, 59, passed away Monday, January 2, 2012, at her residence. A memorial service is scheduled for 3:00 pm Saturday, January 7, 2012, at Lady's Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Leon Hawks will officiate. The family will receive friends from 2 to 2:45 pm Saturday at Lady's Funeral Home. Mrs. Wright was born December 30, 1952 in Philadelphia, PA. She was a daughter of the late Joseph Connell and Theresa Beccaria Connell. She worked for South Ridge Veterinary Hospital as a receptionist. Donna enjoyed playing bingo. She also bred and raised Persian cats. Mrs. Wright is survived by her husband, Joe Dean Wright; daughter, Gwendolyn Bowman of Kannapolis; son, Christopher Wright of China Grove; sisters, Diane Connell and Marie Kenyon both of PA; grandchildren, Aubrey Wright and Dalton Bowman.
