Dora Evelyn Fisher Hargett

Mrs. Dora Evelyn Fisher Hargett, 84, passed away Wednesday, March 2, 2022, in Harrisburg.

A graveside service is scheduled for 2:00 pm Tuesday, March 8, 2022, at Carolina Memorial Park - Harrisburg. Rev. Ray White will officiate.

The family will receive friends from 11 to 1:00 pm Tuesday at Lady's Funeral Home & Crematory.

Mrs. Hargett was born November 12, 1937 in Cabarrus County. She was a daughter of the late Clarence Wilson Fisher and Dora Barbee Fisher.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by husband, James Julius Hargett, Sr.; a brother, Clarence Hiram "C.H." Fisher; and a recently deceased son, Ronald W. Hargett.

Mrs. Hargett is survived by four children, James J. Hargett, Jr., David L. Hargett and wife Janice, Opal Valentine and Donald E. Hargett; brother, Bill Fisher and wife Adda of Concord; eight grandchildren; and a number of great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
