Doris Imogene Green

Mrs. Doris Imogene Fowler Green, 70, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, September 16, 2016, at her residence.

A graveside service is scheduled for 1:00 pm Thursday, September 29, 2016, at Carolina Memorial Park. Rev. J. R. Beaver will officiate. Interment will follow with military honors presented by the U.S. Air Force.

Mrs. Green was born July 11, 1946 in Dallas, TX. She was the daughter of the late Alton Fowler and Imogene Weeks Fowler. Doris was an active member of Jackson Park Baptist Church. She formerly worked for Wal-Mart and later with Revco as a district manager. She was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Ronald Green.

Doris is survived by a daughter, Delaney Wilkerson of Kannapolis; and four grandchildren, Avery, Ayrabella, Amery and Dalton.
