Mrs. Doris Marie Kiser Campbell, a loving mother and grandmother, age 89, passed away Saturday, March 6, 2021. “I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith; Henceforth, there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing.” (2 Timothy 4:7)
A funeral service is scheduled for 11:00 am Wednesday, March 10, 2021, at Lady's Funeral Home Chapel. Dr. Garland Faw and Rev. Dean Hunter will officiate. Interment will follow at West Lawn Memorial Park in China Grove.

The family will receive friends from 10 to 11:00 am Wednesday at Lady's Funeral Home.
Mrs. Campbell was born January 22, 1932 in Cabarrus County. She was a daughter of the late Edward Smoot Kiser and Ellen Oleta Plyler Kiser.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, Albert Eugene "Gene" Campbell, in January 1998.
Doris was a member of the former Truth Temple Church. Among the many things she enjoyed was her love of traveling, flying and floating in her tube at the beach and in the islands.
Mrs. Campbell is survived by three daughters, Pamela C. Overcash and husband Curtis of Rockwell, Jeanie C. Hines and husband Paul of China Grove, and Kimberly C. Helms and husband Eric of China Grove; three sisters, Linda Byrd and husband Buddy, Peggy Goodman, and Faye Sloop and husband Mike. Also surviving are her eight grandchildren, Darrin Overcash and wife Jennifer, Derek Overcash and wife Amy, Dawn Overcash, Justin Hines, Joshua Hines and wife Amanda, Lauren Bettis and husband Brett, Caleb Helms, Micah Helms and her fiancé Chandler “Mr. Kennedy” Corriher; eleven great-grandchildren, Logan Overcash, Kenzie Overcash, Andrew File, Michael Bostian, Taylor Bostian, Palmer Hines, Emma Hines, Alayna Hines, Liam Hines, Genevieve Hines, and Luke Bettis; a number of nieces and nephews; and her Yorkie, Joy.
The family would like to give a special thank you to Jennifer, Kim, and Tiffany with hospice and her special caregivers, Parker McGuire and Alicia Thompson.
