Doris Jean Spry

Mrs. Doris Jean Crisco Spry, 71, of 1015 East 11th Street, Kannapolis, died Tuesday, October 21, 2003, at NorthEast Medical Center. Our mother sang her last song, prayed her last prayer and smiled her last smile. Jesus reached down and carried her away. No more suffering, no more pain, just sweet, sweet memories will remain. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Mrs. Spry was born August 20, 1932 in Mecklenburg County. She was a daughter of the late Lonnie Lee Crisco and Ruby Bunn Crisco. She was a homemaker. Mrs. Spry is survived by her husband, Jack W. Spry; four daughters, Ricea Hinson, Shelvelene Dudley, Jewel Foster and Sherry Barnette all of Kannapolis; a son, Jack W. Spry, Jr. of Kannapolis; three sisters, Helen Kenmore of Charlotte, Floe Miller of Virginia Beach, VA and Sybil Stiggins of Lake Park, FL; eight grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
